Jennifer Lawrence Joins Real Housewives-Inspired Movie

Hollywood movie star Jennifer Lawrence is a woman of the people. She eats, sleeps, and breathes Bravo just like the rest of us. And now she’ll be bringing her favorite binge-able pastime to the big screen. Jennifer will be producing and starring in a movie inspired by the Real Housewives . Hollywood must be all sequeled out if they are now mining for material from Bravo. Still, who wouldn’t want to see a Real Housewives-inspired film? Especially one that is a murder mystery…

A role that was tailor-made for Jennifer

Jennifer is well known for her starring roles in The Hunger Games series and X-Men franchise. She also nabbed an Oscar and some Golden Globes for her work in Silver Linings Playbook, Joy, and American Hustle. Just another day at the office for Jennifer.

She is also well known for her controversial thoughts on all things Bravo. Don’t get her started on Vanderpump Rules and Scandoval . She definitely has thoughts on Tom Sandoval’s skin, and whether or not Lala Kent is fake.

Jen got into it with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne when she called her “evil.” Ouch. And Jennifer’s messages get out loud and clear because she is a frequent guest on Watch What Happens Live . One of the best moments on the show was when Andy Cohen surprised her with Real Housewives of New York stars Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps.

Basically, if any actress is going to do a movie inspired by Real Housewives it has to be Jennifer. Variety reported that Jennifer will produce and star in “The Wives,” which will be a murder mystery inspired by “The Real Housewives.” Murder mystery and Housewives? Yes, please!

One can only imagine who Jennifer will draw inspiration from for her character. If she solves the mystery, she could easily pull from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay . Picture the dramatic reveal of the killer with Jennifer shouting she has the “Receipts! Proof! Timeline!” The script writes itself.

Unfortunately, details of the film are still under wraps as the project is in development. And there is ”no word on the final plot or when it might shoot.” However, once the film is ready Bravo fans will be lining up to see Jennifer in action.
