Snapping Turtle Caught Snacking On A Deer Fawn

The things you see out there. Nature never ceases to amaze and seems to always throw the unthinkable and unimaginable at you. It’s what makes it so great out there... everything is just doing what it can to survive. Snapping turtle are some of the coolest creatures out there too. A turtle that has a strong enough bite to take your fingers off. These turtles have nearly 50-pound bite force that can easily break through small bones. Their sharp and hooked beak is made to rip through things with ease when paired with the force. These beasts of the water reach just 35 pounds, but are nothing to mess with. Their primary diet includes fish, frogs and birds that they hunt and anything else they can find from plants to dead animals. This snapper showed these folks just how wild of a turtle they can be when they caught one carrying something big in a stream. The people approach and the turtle gets scared off, letting go of its meal. It reveals a deer fawn that it was carrying around... with its face completely chewed off.
