    Queen Camilla often honors the memory of Queen Elizabeth II by wearing pieces of the late monarch’s jewelry on special occasions and for royal engagements. Over the course of the last few years and since she officially became queen consort at King Charles III’s coronation in May 2023, Queen Camilla has fashioned Queen Elizabeth II’s brooches, tiaras and more.

    In the months following Kind Charles III and Queen Camilla’s coronation, the couple attended events to celebrate their new royal roles. For a dinner and reception at Mansion House in London on Oct. 18, 2023, Queen Camilla paid homage to Queen Elizabeth II by wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara.

    The tiara dates to the 1890s and was eventually gifted to then-Princess Elizabeth. She wore it often in the early 1950s, before her coronation in 1953. She continued to wear the tiara throughout her reign, including during a banquet in Paris. The tiara features festoon and fleur-de-lis designs and many diamonds.

    Another tiara worn by Queen Camilla was the Sapphire Tiara. This elegant piece features diamonds and sapphires in an ornate design. In November 2022, Queen Camilla wore the jewelry piece during a state banquet for South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

    Queen Elizabeth II was gifted the tiara as a present from her father, King George VI. The tiara features sapphires and diamonds in various shapes, glittering in an ornate design.
