The Orlando Arcia we worried about has shown up

The Braves offense seems to have woken up a little bit, but not everybody has gotten in going. Braves SS Orlando Arcia has seen his average drop to .213, which would be by far the lowest in his career, but that doesn't mean he won't still remain as the Braves starting shortstop for the rest of the season.

While Orlando Arcia's has been struggling mightily at the plate, he's continued to provide very strong defense up the middle for the Braves. Will the Braves deal with his offensive issues because of his glove? Between that, lack of replacements, and his team-friendly deal, they just might.

Orlando Arcia is making less than $3 Million and considering he was an All Star for the Braves last year might have a long leash, but also because there aren't a ton of realistic options to move on from him. Braves prospect Nacho Alvarez was just recently called up to Triple-A Gwinnett and could be the most likely in-house replacement.
