Will Smith is getting back in his music bag! The BET Awards plans to be an unforgettable night as the one and only Will Smith is set to take the stage to debut a brand new song, Variety reports.

In a press release, BET expressed their honor and excitement to welcome Will Smith back to the BET Awards stage. “From his start as a rapper to “The Fresh Prince” to being a box office king as one of the Bad Boys, Will Smith is truly a global icon, and we are honored to welcome him back to grace the BET Awards stage,” said Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy at BET. “We look forward to Will adding to yet another defining night for the culture that is not to be missed.”

While further details about his performance was hit share, this news comes hot on the heels of Smith’s surprise cameo at the Coachella festival in April. Collaborating with Colombian star J Balvin, Smith wowed the audience as he took the stage dressed in his iconic “Men in Black” costume, adding an extra touch of excitement to Balvin’s UFO-themed performance.
