Miranda Lambert Announces New Song “Dammit Randy” Dropping Friday

Old school Miranda, and I’m here for it. Today, Miranda Lambert announced that she's releasing the second song from her forthcoming (unofficially announced) studio album, a new one called "Dammit Randy," this Friday, June 28th. She's already teased it on social media, and after already releasing her first song with Republic Records called “Wranglers,” which is a vengeful song with a  take-no-sh*t message that certainly harkens back to 2007 Miranda and hits like “Kerosene,” this new one seems to also be in line with the Miranda we first met two decades ago too. The clip she previously shared on social media featured a simple production, that seemingly finds her looking back on a breakup and how now that she’s gone, this guy finally sees her worth and how good he had it: “We were picture perfect but you couldn’t put it in a frame, Yeah now that I made it to the other side, I hope you’re countin’ singles in your double wide, Smokin’ cigarettes like they’re going out of style, Turnin’ me up on your radio dial, You gave up to the very last minute, Now that I’m gone I’ve got your attention” I can't wait to hear the full studio cut in a few days: "'DAMMIT RANDY.' Miranda most recently released her Palomino album back in 2022, and I just can’t wait to hear all of the new music she has coming soon.
