Anthony Davis ' video called streamer Kai Cenat during one of his recent live streams and made his intentions of collaborating with Kai on a live stream together very clear.

The pair had a short conversation on a video call where Davis tells Kai about them streaming together, prompting Cenat to excitedly agree on doing one whenever Davis is available. They exchanged pleasantries and ended the call, teasing fans about a future offseason stream where Davis joins Kai in his home studio.

Kai has had multiple top stars on his stream, with him breaking streaming records during his recent live-streams with Kevin Hart. LeBron James even made a similar appearance to how Davis appeared on Kai's recent stream, as Kevin Hart video called James while on Kai's stream with another internet personality, Druski.

Some fans are mocking Davis for spending his offseason trying to collaborate on a livestream with someone who is almost 10 years younger than him. But ultimately, it's his offseason and he is free to spend it doing whatever. We know NBA players, especially at Davis' level, put in their sweat without being reminded.

Players often spend the early-to-middle part of their offseason as far away from basketball as possible, usually working on general training for cardio or strength. Davis made headlines last summer for saying he hadn't shot a ball all offseason, which isn't an uncommon practice for top NBA stars who are using the time to recover and heal up.

Anthony Davis Will Be The Lakers' Primary Option Under JJ Redick

Anthony Davis needs to enjoy his offseason to the fullest because next season is going to be one where the Lakers' success and failures will be dependent on him. After earning the title of the best player on the Lakers for many ahead of LeBron James last season, Davis is expected to be a featured part of the team under new head coach JJ Redick , with James accepting more off-ball duties.

"Redick described a system molded around this roster, focusing on elevating Anthony Davis' involvement, particularly late in games, and alleviating the constant ball-handling duties on James by utilizing him more off the ball. Keeping James, who turns 40 in December, fresh down the stretch of the regular season and into the playoffs will be critical."

James had told the Lakers' front office to make the head coach hiring based on what is best for Davis . With LeBron's age and possible free agency this summer, it would make little sense for him to demand the unilateral attention his team would have paid him if he was still in his prime.

James seems content with finally giving the keys of the franchise to Davis, something he's reportedly been wanting to do but a variety of factors have always hurt those plans. We've seen that switch happen during Darvin Ham's tenure with the franchise, with Redick looking to ramp that up even more.

Davis averaged 24.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks last season, being named to the All-NBA and All-Defensive teams despite the Lakers finishing as the No. 7 seed in the West.
