There are so many hidden treasures sitting on the shelves of Goodwill . Walking into any vintage, antique, or thrift store there is always a rush that you get of what cool item you may find. Sometimes it's sitting in plain sight and you can run over to it and scoop it up and take it home, but other times you may get a secret surprise hiding within an item you purchase. That is exactly what happened to one woman who opened up glass cookie case and found a note sitting inside of it that left her in tears, check it out below! But warning… you may shed a tear yourself.

Not only is this vintage cookie display case beautiful with its solid oak wood bottom and heavy thick glass top straight fromt hr 60s but the note that accompines it is so heartfelt.

The note reads “Although Uncle Bryant is not with us today, he is gone from us now, but I still sign his name- because he loved all his people. Come to see me. Signed, Aunt Mamie”. This definitely brought a tear to our eye as I’m sure it did yours!
