The Pioneer Woman Just Shared the Recipe for Her 'Perfect' Iced Coffee & It Couldn't Be Easier

Iced coffee is the solution for everything — no matter what the problem is. And in the summertime? Nothing goes down smoother than a creamy caffeine boost of cool coffee. Ree Drummond (aka, The Pioneer Woman) just shared her “perfect” recipe for iced coffee, and we’ll be making this on repeat!

“Get your Monday morning coffee fix with Ree’s perfect iced coffee! ☀️” The Pioneer Woman Magazine posted on Instagram . They also included a video of the beloved homemade brew, which looks super easy to make and absolutely delightful. She added that she “likes hers creamy and sweet (with a bit of sweetened condensed milk and half-and-half). 😋”

Drummond shared details about how to make the Perfect Iced Coffee on her website. It calls for ground coffee, half-and-half, sweetened condensed milk, and other ingredients. Start by mixing the ground coffee with water, then covering and sitting at room temperature for at least 12 hours or up to 24 hours.

From there, pour the coffee and water mixture over a strainer and cool the coffee in the fridge. When it’s ready, pour some into your cup, adding the cream, condensed milk, and any other syrups or sweeteners that you could want.

“Iced coffee is my life,” Drummond wrote on the recipe. “When I wake up, often around the time party animals on the west coast are just heading home, I start each day not with a cup of freshly brewed hot java, but with a tall, blessed glass of creamy iced coffee in a glass. I’ve been an iced coffee freakazoid for years and years. To say I couldn’t live without it is an understatement. It gives me the tools I need to cope.”
