Fort Eisenhower to hold ‘Hiring Our Heroes’ career summit this week

FORT EISENHOWER, Ga. (WJBF) – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes has teamed up with Fort Eisenhower’s Transition Assistance Program to host a career summit for military-connected job seekers.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Eisenhower Catering and Conference Center.

According to an announcement, more than 80 employers are expected to be present at the career fair, including from the fields of cybersecurity/IT, defense contracting, administration and general management and project management.

While the job fair is tailored for military personnel transitioning out of service as well as military spouses and veterans, the event is open for anyone who would like attend. Those planning to participate are asked to register in advance here .

Since 2011, Hiring Our Heroes has provided services to help veterans, military spouses and caregivers and transitioning service members obtain employment opportunities.
