There’s a new Nassau County tourism promotion effort launching this week under Glen Head-based RRDA, the advertising and marketing agency now marketing the county as a destination.

The “More to Explore” tourism campaign includes a branding, website and social media presence. It is designed to highlight to locals and visitors the county’s beaches, arts and culture, historical sites, restaurants, shopping, events and more.

For this campaign, RRDA is partnering with U.S. Coachways, with “More to Explore” branded buses. Beginning June 29, on Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day, the buses will pick visitors up in midtown Manhattan and take them directly to Nassau destinations. These destinations include Long Beach, Americana Manhasset and Museum Row. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here .

"We wanted this campaign to highlight what makes Nassau County so unique,” Jaime Hollander, owner and managing director of RRDA, said in a news release about the campaign.

“To ensure this is central to every campaign element, our color palette pulls from the seals of the three towns and two cities in Nassau County," Hollander added. "We want local businesses and residents to be proud of the campaign and feel like they're part of every piece of it."

The campaign was designed to highlight the county’s “diverse offerings and aims to connect people to the right experience, activity or event for them. Whether you have a week, a day, or even a few hours, we’re committed to connecting people to experiences that leave a lasting impressionbecause there truly is ‘more to explore’ in Nassau County," Hollander said.

The new campaign is launching as the county celebrates its 125 th anniversary. The county recently hosted the ICC Men's T20 World Cup earlier this month, and will host the Ryder Cup in 2025.
