    Most expensive homes sold in Santa Rosa County during May combine for $8 million in sales

    Santa Rosa County’s three-most-expensive homes sold during May combined for just over $8 million.

    In May, home sales between Escambia and Santa Rosa counties rose a combined 9% from April, according to data from the Pensacola Association of Realtors.

    Each of the homes most expensive homes sold were built before 2000, but their ideal locations and attractive architecture saw each of them purchased for more than $2 million.

    Each residence is a waterfront property.Two of three homes are in Gulf Breeze, while the last is on Navarre Beach .

    Here’s a look at which three homes across Santa Rosa County had the highest sales tag during May.

    3. 208 Northcliffe Drive, $2.23 million

    Santa Rosa County’s third-most-expensive home sale during May was a waterfront home in Gulf Breeze that was built in 1970.

    The property sits on a 0.55-acre lot on Pensacola Bay and has an accompanying dock, boathouse and lift alongside its waterfront view from inside of the home.

    The home has 3,377 square feet inside with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms in addition to two half bathrooms.

    Its kitchen was just remodeled and now features new appliances along with a quartzite kitchen island to serve as its centerpiece.

    This home was listed for $2.23 million by Jessie Mayes with Levin Rinke Realty and was only on the market for two days before its sale closed on May 20 for the same price tag.

    2. 95 Chanteclaire Circle, $2.99 million

    Another waterfront home in Gulf Breeze made the list for Santa Rosa County’s highest home sales during May.

    This two-story, almost 5,300-square-foot home was built in 1993 and stands on a 0.52-acre lot.

    This residence has five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half bathrooms alongside a boat lift and covered "lanai" porch outside.

    Its kitchen is equipped with two sub-zero refrigerators and a 59-inch gas range with a griddle, broiler and two ovens.

    This home was listed for $2.99 million by Sherlyn Waghalter with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services PenFed Realty. Its sale closed for the same price that it was listed for.

    1. 7991 Gulf Blvd., $3 million

    The most expensive home sold in Santa Rosa County during May was a waterfront Navarre Beach residence that was built in 1996 and spent nearly 150 days on the market before its sale closed for $3 million on May 8.

    This home has four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms to go along with its 100-foot elevation over the beach, offering an even better view of the surrounding area and its 0.3-acre lot. Its interior also has nearly 3,800 square feet in space.

    In addition to its four bedrooms, there are two “stowaway” rooms that can be used as bedrooms as well.

    The home’s open, modern design provides a view of the water in multiple places, and the high ceilings and plentiful windows add lots of natural sunlight to the residence’s light-grey interior.

    The home was listed for sale by Tracy Collins and Nanci Agee with La Florida Coastal Properties at a starting point of $3.25 million.
