Sir Paul McCartney graced Taylor Swift’s third London gig for the New Eras Tour at Wembley Arena, alongside his wife Nancy Shevell and daughter Stella. Paul was visibly struggling to walk and needed the support of his daughter to move around, but this did not stop him from having a good time and making some starstruck fans’ day by dancing with them.

Paul was seen waving to his fans as he made for his tent, and short clips of him were being uploaded to X in real-time as the show went on. “Paul McCartney having the time of his life dancing along to ‘But Daddy I Love Him’ as Taylor Swift performs live at today’s show!” a follower posted.

Also present with Paul were the likes of Nicola Coughlan, Cara Delevingne, Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, Sophie Turner, Bon Jovi, and actress Mila Kunis. The Beatles frontman was undoubtedly elated by the show of talent and Taylor’s three-hour-long performance. The show still goes on for the 34-year-old, who will be back in Wembley by August for five consecutive days.

Fans were delighted to have their beloved idols on the concert grounds, and could not hold back their excitement about it on social media. “Whoa, what a crowd!… It’s great to see so many familiar faces out there, singing along to the hits. Let me tell you, it feels good,” someone gushed.

    Still rocking at 82

Paul’s appearance at Wembley comes a week after his 82nd birthday, which he celebrated in an intimate fashion with his wife and five children at the 17th Century Boys Hall Hotel in Ashford, Kent. His adult children, Heather, Mary, Stella, James, and Beatrice, along with other close relatives, were hosted at the hotel’s drawing room, where they enjoyed a three-course dinner.

This lowkey celebration was a contrast from Paul’s 80th birthday bash where he partied into the midnight with family after headlining a Glastonbury show. Despite his age, he is still very much in business and is set to storm the UK with his first arena show in years this winter, just after a series of gigs in the fall across Europe, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
