Krispy Kreme Has a New Patriotic Collection That Looks Absolutely Amazing

Krispy Kreme has been rolling out limited-edition, seasonal doughnuts left and right and we are here for it.

Just last week, the popular doughnut company released some adorable mini doughnut dots and a Father's Day collection that was just too cute. Of course, you can't forget about the Dolly Parton collection, either.

Now they're getting ready to serve up a dose of patriotism with a new red, white, and blue collection that we have to get our hands on.

These Doughnuts Are Patriotic

Oh, say, can you see, by the "Hot and Ready" light? Just in time for the Fourth of July, Krispy Kreme is dropping some red, white, and blue donuts with its Star Spangled Sweetness collection.

First up in this lineup is its specially decorated Original Glazed, which Krispy Kreme says comes "hand-dipped in white icing and decorated with patriotic red icing stripes and blue and gold sprinkles."

Then, there's its Cotton Candy Sparkler Doughnut, which is another Original Glazed that's "hand-dipped in blue icing and cotton candy sugar and decorated with white and red buttercreme dollops."

There's also the Firework Cookies & Kreme Filled Doughnut, which Krispy Kreme said is an unglazed doughnut filled with Cookies & Kreme, which is then "hand-dipped in red icing and decorated with a blue icing swirl and rocket candy piece" for a little added crunch.

Rounding out the collection is the Chocolate Iced with Patriotic Sprinkles Doughnut, which is one more Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with "patriotic sprinkles."

Get Rewarded for Showing Patriotism

If you want to try these, make sure you head down to Krispy Kreme on July 4 wearing your best all-American apparel.

Krispy Kreme is giving away a free Original Glazed to anyone who visits its shops wearing red, white, and blue on July 4, and that includes those who go through the drive-thru.

Not only can you pick up a fast breakfast or a nice dessert to share at the office or a BBQ, but you can also get a free doughnut while you're there.

This collection won't be here for long, though, so you have to get it while you can. According to Krispy Kreme's website, these doughnuts disappear on July 5, so grab a box or two now!

We're sure that whatever Krispy Kreme rolls out next will be simply amazing and we can't wait to see what that will be.
