M.I.A. has launched a new clothing line called Ohmni , and she chose none other than Alex Jones’ Infowars show to promote the venture.

Deemed as “the first ever street wear for the modern information era,” Ohmni is a clothing line that aims to preserve “your privacy, autonomy, and rights over your body and your data.” The brand offers items like “Protency boxers” that “block electromagnetic frequencies” and boost fertility as well as literal “Tin foil hats,” which block WiFi, 4G, and 5G from “entering your brain” and offer “100% brain coverage.”

The clothing line is only a few weeks old, but its mission statement already acknowledges some skepticism: “You might think of the war zone as far away from where you are, yet in 2024, even your house is a digital battlefield,” the statement reads. “Future backwards is R U TUF. If the conspiracy theorists are wrong, good for you, you own some beautiful clothes made with pure silver and precious metals. But, if they are right, you just might have saved the future of humanity.”

Fittingly, M.I.A. opted to introduce her new clothing line on Alex Jones’ conspiracy-theory-centric Infowars , where she also sat for a wide-ranging and bizarre interview. M.I.A. explained to Jones that the clothing line is designed to protect wearers from nanoparticles (she called it “evil dust,” though). She also discussed a scrapped album, her supposed “anti-vaxx” views, and being “cancelled” during her appearance on Jones’ show.

Meanwhile, those looking for more scientific explanations on how Ohmni protects its wearers from said particles will have to remain hunting — M.I.A. didn’t provide any concrete answers, and Ohmni’s website is a bit more concerned with convincing you that the clothing line is “not your artist foray into fashion. This is a necessity.”

M.I.A. previously made headlines in 2022 when she compared Alex Jones’ conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook Massacre to “every celebrity pushing vaccines.” Alex Jones, on the other hand, is still in deep shit — he was ordered to pay nearly $1 billion for his lies about Sandy Hook, and most recently, has been ordered to liquidate all his assets as his company Free Speech Systems exits bankruptcy.
