Conor McGregor may have found the 'Hawk Tuah' girl that has taken over the internet in recent days.

After tweeting on X that he wanted to find the girl in question, McGregor has now followed an account belonging to 'Haliey Welch' that is private but has 34,000 followers.

Welch's bio says she is in Tennessee and her moment of fame came from an interview on the streets of Nashville.

In the now-viral clip, the girl gave a graphic description of her sexual exploits - mimicking spitting and the noise she makes - phonetically spelled out as 'hawk tuah' - and the footage has flooded social media.

McGregor posted - and then deleted - on X: 'Have we located hawk tuah yet?'

McGregor now follows the account that many believe belongs to the girl in question

Many other fans on social media have claimed that Welch is the girl in question, with some even sharing pictures from her alleged account before it went private.

But McGregor has been accepted as a follower - and Welch is one of 2,507 people that the MMA star follows on his Instagram account.

McGregor is engaged to his long-term partner Dee Devlin and they have four children together.

He's not the only sports star to reference the viral meme in recent days, however.

On Monday, Olivia Dunne responded to a fan who posted the viral meme underneath her vacation pictures with boyfriend Paul Skenes.

'Leave Miss Tuah out of this,' the gymnast wrote in response to the mischievous comment.

A golf fan was also recorded yelling 'hawk tuah' when Bryson DeChambeau hit a shot in the second round of the recent LIV Golf event in Nashville.

Welch has also started selling merchandise after going viral for the interview on June 19.

Welch is selling two different types of hats with the phrase written on it, one with a leather patch and one embordered

She has partnered with Tennessee company Fathead Threads to sell her own line of hats.

'I have been authorized to sell these hats after a conversation with Hailey. She will be receiving a portion of the profits from sales,' Jason Poteete from Fathead Threads shared on Facebook.

The company posted a photo of Welch autographing two different types of hats, one with a leather patch and one embordered, which are available for purchase.

Unsigned embroidered 'Hawk Tuah' hats are going for $32.70 while signed caps are on sale for $43.70.

Hats with the leather 'Hawk Tuah' patch and an autograph go for $50 and unsigned versions are $40.

Chelsea Bradford, the proud friend standing next to Welch in the video, shared the merch line on Facebook. 'Finally someone giving my girl commission,' she wrote.
