Ladies and gentlemen, this right here is what music is all about. Like his music or not, there's few people who can say with any amount of honestly that Jelly Roll isn't one of the most inspiring dudes in the country music business right now. It's clear that his music is having a profound impact on people, both young and old, who maybe feel like life has dealt them a losing hand. He's been a voice of hope for those who feel like they don't have any reason to have any. It's really cool to see. Though he spent much of his youth
behind bars , the rapper turned country superstar has turned his life completely around and is now a shining role model of positivity and change for both adults and adolescents throughout the world. Not only does he seem like just a great guy to hang out with but he's constantly giving back to the communities that mean the most to him, having opened a recording studio inside the Nashville juvenile detention center where he once was incarcerated and playing shows for his old cell block. But it's not just those behind bars that find hope in Jelly's message and this video right here is perfect proof of that. Last weekend, Jelly played Nebraskaland Days in North Platte, Nebraska and in the audience was a young boy that just recently discovered his love for music thanks to Jelly Roll. In a video posted by his mother, we can see the kid singing along and starting to tear up when Jelly broke into
"Son Of A Sinner," his first ever country music number 1 from his 2021 Ballads of the Broken album. To add to the moment, the kid was even wearing a shirt with some of the song's lyrics and seeing the emotions well up in his eyes will bring a tear to yours. "His favorite artist was worth the 9-hour car ride" A truly beautiful moment that was made better when both Jelly and his wife Bunnie XO commented on the now viral post. Jelly said: "He is so sweet! I literally starting to tear up watching him get excited - thank you for this" And Bunnie said simply: "I love this sweet boy" An incredible moment which is a good reminder that music is meant to make us feel something. There's nothing wrong with a drinking song every now and again, but the best artists are the ones that bring something out of us that we didn't even know was there. Keep on doing your thing, Jelly, because it's really incredible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4Z1cpdkgQU
