André 3000 has announced a full US tour for fall 2024 in support of his debut jazz album, New Blue Sun .
Dubbed “New Blue Sun – Live In Concert,” the tour will see the rapper perform alongside musicians Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, and Deantoni Parks, all of whom were featured on the album (which was named by Consequence as one of the best albums of 2023 ). The jaunt will kick off on September 19th in New Orleans, and will see 3 Stacks play venues such as The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, The Met in Philadelphia, and The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
Prior to the US tour, André 3000 will finish up international dates in Canada and Europe, as well as play the Newport Jazz Festival and Blue Note Jazz Festival. Check out his full list of upcoming dates below.
In other André 3000 news, he recently teamed up with saxophonist Kamasi Washington for the single “Dream State,” from the latter’s upcoming album Fearless Movement .
