When you have a baby, it's natural to trade in your favorite tunes and TV shows for kid-friendly content, at least temporarily. For example, instead of listening to true crime podcasts while you have your morning coffee, you might switch to Ms. Rachel. But the truth is, there's plenty of "grown-up" entertainment out there that babies and toddlers enjoy, sometimes even more than the kid stuff!

In a hilarious video posted on June 24, a mom is sitting with her infant son on her lap, facing her. She wants to sing the little boy a song, but she "doesn't know any nursery rhymes." What does she know? Snoop Dogg!

"Mummaoke ft @Snoop Dogg," wrote @rachel.olivia_ . The way his face lit up when the song started! That kid knows a classic when he hears one. Commenters were not at all surprised by the baby's reaction.

"Snoop Dogg the new Ms Rachel ," wrote LHARI.

"Legit that was our baby's favorite song ," wrote Quita.

"Babies love a sick beat ," wrote EAGsquared.

"Omg! I sang this to my son when we were getting him to eat when he was little . He loved it!!" wrote Billie Neff.

Several commenters also brought up the fact that Snoop Dogg has a popular children's show on YouTube — which is probably something this little boy would be into!

What Is Snoop Dogg's Show for Kids About?

In 2022, Snoop Dogg released Doggyland - Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes , on YouTube and YouTube Kids. Parents called the show " Cocomelon meets hip hop " with a focus on healthy child development .

"Doggyland , which is geared towards children ranging from toddlers to 8 years old, focuses on teaching social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The family-friendly show encourages kids and parents to come together to learn new skills, as well as spread joy and love to one another. Bow Wizzle (voiced by Snoop Dogg) leads the cast of colorful and vibrant characters which, according to the Doggyland website, were thoughtfully designed that way aiming to promote diversity and inclusion in a way that kids would be able to grasp."

According to Snoop Dogg, helping kids has always been part of his mission.

"'As a father, grandfather and longtime youth football coach, it's always been important to me to build positive and educational environments for all children,' the rapper said about the new series. 'We wanted to bring our show to YouTube and YouTube Kids which provides free access to everyone, so all the kids can enjoy it.'"

As this video proves, Snoop Dogg definitely appeals to all ages!
