I've never lived on a farm, but I can imagine that it gets pretty chaotic at times. Managing animals, making sure the crops are thriving, maintaining the farm land... the chores are endless, but so are the rewards. It's hard to imagine anything better than being greeted by so many animals who are happy to see you, from cows to chickens to ducks (and everything in between). Sure, there's no doubt that a lot of work is involved, but it has to be so worth it — especially when you're able to teach your animals a trick or two!

For example: the very well trained waddle going on in this TikTok video. These ducks are

On Monday, June 24, @thatdailyduckwaddle showed off the skills of the ducks on their farm. Somehow, they can perfectly walk in a line, practically waddling in sync as a group, back to their shed when it's time to turn in for the night.

"They have been trained to go to bed on their own and then wait for us to shut the door," the OP wrote.

Sure enough, we can see the ducks waddle right into the shed — they're ready to get this slumber party started!

As you might have guessed from the account name, there are so many videos of these ducks being perfect little waddlers. One video even shows what it looks like when they get up in the morning and the shed door is open for the day; they're moving much faster then because they're probably excited for breakfast!

And still, their waddles are so coordinated. This is a real talent.

    How to Train Ducks

It's pretty amazing that ducks can be trained in the first place, but it's totally possible — and it's not all that different from training dogs, if you've done that before.

If possible, it's recommended to start the training when the ducks are still ducklings ; like with all animals, it's easier to instill these new behaviors when the ducks are young, before they're set in their ways.

Once you've established trust between you and your ducks, one of the simplest things you can do is start by teaching them to come when you call them by name, and give them treats when they come. Positive reinforcement is definitely going to be key here.

It may be harder to train wild ducks rather than starting with ducklings, but it can be done — just remember that their behavior may not be what you expect!

And I highly doubt any ducks in the world will be able to waddle as well as the ones in this video. They're professionals!
