YOUNG COUNTY ( KFDX/KJTL ) — A Texoma nonprofit is teaming up with a national advocate for animal shelters in hopes of getting a new transport vehicle.

The Humane Society of Young County is partnering with Jordan’s Way with the goal of reaching 10,000 Patreon followers. Until that goal is reached, Kris Rotunda with Jordan’s Way is pulling a truck in the Texas heat .

The truck pull is taking place at the Young County Arena parking lot beginning on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and continuing until the goal is met.

“This will benefit shelters and rescues across the U.S., with the first beneficiary being the Humane Society of Young County,” Shelby Brogdon, Director of the HSYC, said. “Once the goal is reached our shelter will receive a new transport vehicle!”

Those interested in participating in the Humane Society of Young County fundraiser can become Patreons by registering on the Jordan’s Way Patreon .
