GloRilla Gives Fans Another Summer Banger With New ‘TGIF’ Single And Video

This summer is all about the rap girlies: Latto released a teaser video for her “What Do I Get For My Birthday?” track, Megan The Stallion is on tour, Ice Spice is releasing her debut album, Y2K! , and Glorilla is making a splash with her latest single.

Fans are loving the music video for the Memphis native’s “TGIF” single, which was released on June 24. In the video, directed by Jerry Morka and Diesel, Glo and her friends dance on top of cars, ride ATVs and appear to be having the time of their lives on a beach. Glo first teased “TGIF” on social media last week, which led to thousands of people using the song in their content.

“It’s 7 p.m. Friday/ It’s ninty-five degrees/ I ain’t got no ni**a, and no ni**a ain’t got me/ I’m ’bout to show my a**, these ni**as love a freak/ How the f**k is that yo’ man/ If he right here with me?” she raps on the hook.

“TGIF” can be considered the sequel to Glo’s “F.N.F.” The Grammy-nominated rapper still lauds herself for being single and having it ‘her way.”

GloRilla released her album Ehhthang Ehhthang in April. It debuted and peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 chart. In addition, she had an amazing start to her summer as she performed a string of performances in major cities during the U.S. leg of Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour.
