Former McDonald’s chef reveals breakfast hack that is ‘far superior’ than regular menu item

A TikToker is sharing a hack to get a better breakfast sandwich at McDonald’s.

Mike Haracz is a former corporate chef at McDonald’s , and he uses his TikTok account to share some behind the scenes of what it was like working for the fast food giant.

He recently went viral for unveiling a hack that will make the McDonald’s bagel sandwich even more delicious.

The sandwich comes with bacon, egg and cheese on a toasted bagel. He said the problem with the menu item as is, is that the egg is frozen and just warmed up.

“This egg? Hot garbage. This is their pre-frozen, folded egg, okay? All they do is either microwave it, put it on a grill, hold it in their [universal holding cabinet].

“It is the worst egg that McDona;d’s has in the restaurant.”

When you order the bagel sandwich, he said to ask for the scrambled eggs from the Big Breakfast meal instead. That meal comes with eggs, sausage, a hashbrown and a biscuit.

Mike revealed that the scrambled eggs in the Big Breakfast meal are actually cooked in a pan in the restaurant, like normal eggs. It is a liquid egg product, which is pre-blended egg whites and yolk, but he said it’s tastes better/

“It’s more flavorful, it’s more tender, usually the portion is bigger based on how they’re supposed to make it.

“When you add that egg to your bagel sandwich, it is far superior.”
