Danielle Olivera Quits Summer House Before Season 9 Starts Filming: ‘Need To Trust My Gut’

All decent enough things must eventually come to an end, even in the realm of reality television. Such is the case for Danielle Olivera . This Summer House star has just announced her exit, right as filming for Season 9 begins to get underway. However, don’t get too emotional yet, either way, as it’s still possible that Danielle might have a cameo or two left in her fashionable arsenal, but on this, only time will tell.

Danielle’s outtie

Taking to her Instagram account just a few beats ago, Danielle made her “heartbreaking decision” known. She also noted that this “didn’t come without a tremendous amount of thought.” And then, she said it. That she would not be returning “as a full-time cast member on the upcoming season of Summer House.”

“Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut. If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that. Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me — my company, my people, and of course myself,” Danielle further explained. Obviously, she absolutely, positively was not #firedbybravo and is choosing to depart of her own accord…

She then thanked all of NBC Universal, Bravo, and even the show’s production company, Truly Original. This is because they all supported “whatever decision” she “chose to reach,” understanding why she might be in a different headspace just ahead of Season 9.

All of this said, her exit isn’t a full one, or so it seems. You see, Danielle first reminds us that she “was fortunate enough to be able to take a step back [in] season 4 as well, and it ended up working out better than i imagined.” Then, in her departure notice, she teased a possible future with this series. “However I’m involved this summer, you can bet I’ll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House fam,” she penned.

So there you have it. Danielle is no longer here for a full-time. But, she might still be here for a some-time.
