    2 charged with murder of 38-year-old woman in Polk County shooting

    POLK COUNTY, Texas ( KETK ) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two people who are suspected to have shot and killed a West Virginia woman.

    According to a release, on June 15 the sheriff’s office received 911 calls of a shooting in the 500 block of Wilson Lake Estates. When officials arrived, they reportedly found 38-year-old Jillian Rasnick dead and with an apparent gunshot wound.

    “The investigation revealed that a verbal altercation occurred between the victim and homeowner leading to the shooting incident. The public was never in any danger,” Polk County Sheriff’s Office said.

    Authorities arrested Robin Crum, 65, and Christopher Crum, 46, both from Livingston.

    Robin was charged with murder and is being held on a $50,000 bond. Christopher was charged with murder and terror threat causing fear or imminent severe bodily injury and is held on a $300,000 bond.

    The sheriff’s office said no further information will be shared at this time as the investigation is still ongoing.
