    Breezy Afternoon Forecasted with Showers and Thunderstorms Possible

    Tonight: Expect slightly warmer temperatures overnight due to a high-pressure system over the region. Moisture from northern California and northwest Nevada is moving into southern Oregon, bringing showers and the potential for thunderstorms

    Late Tonight into Wednesday Morning : A weather disturbance will move across the area, starting around midnight. This will likely cause some thunderstorms and showers, especially along the eastern slopes of the Cascades. There's a slight chance of thunderstorms throughout the morning and early afternoon, with the best chance along the Washington Cascades.

    Wednesday Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms could continue in northeast Oregon and southeast Washington, particularly in the mountains. Winds will become breezy, ranging from 15-25 mph, and temperatures will cool slightly.

    Thursday: The weather system will move inland, bringing cooler temperatures and continued breezy conditions. Showers will persist in the Cascade Mountains and the mountains of northeast Oregon and southeast Washington until the evening.

    Friday: A calm and sunny day is expected, with temperatures rising to the upper 70s to mid-80s. Winds will be light, around 10 mph.

    Saturday: Temperatures will warm further, reaching the 80s, with some places like Tri-Cities and Hermiston possibly hitting 90 degrees. The day will start sunny, but clouds will increase in the afternoon, and there might be light rain showers along the Cascade crest.

    Saturday Night and Sunday: A weather system will bring a chance of showers and possibly thunderstorms, especially in Wallowa County. Rainfall will be light, but it will be breezy to windy, with gusts up to 40 mph in some areas. Temperatures will cool slightly.

    Monday: Sunny and dry, but still breezy. Winds could reach 20-30 mph, especially in the Kittitas Valley and Columbia Gorge. Temperatures will be a bit cooler than Sunday.
