    Waddle along

The title of this poem or song

    Is waddling along.

    One thing I’ve been told

That we waddle when we’re old.

    We waddle off to bed

After pain medicine for our head.

    Maybe tums for our belly

Because we ate peanut butter and jelly.

We toss and turn and wear ourselves out

We then decide to get up without a doubt.

Then we waddle to the kitchen and put coffee on

Because we need coffee while all alone.

One day God will take us home

Then we won’t waddle or be alone.

Then we have a new body on the Golden Shore

We’ll never waddle or hurt anymore.

So if you’re old and don’t know what to do

Don’t give up, God cares for you.

Just keep waddling until the very end

And then our new life will begin!
