Jim Ross Returns To The ER With Breathing Difficulties: "Let's Fight!"

AEW commentator Jim Ross is back in hospital after experiencing breathing issues but is ready to fight this most recent of setbacks.

Taking to Twitter/X, Ross shared the news that he has returned to hospital due to what he described as "difficulty breathing." Despite the high chance of an overnight stay, Ross was confident that he'll be okay and was prepared to fight whatever the problem may be.

This trip to the ER comes just one month after Ross was hospitalized on May 23 due to shortness of breath. He later revealed on an episode of his Grilling JR podcast that he had been dealing with a virus but was had been on the road to recovery.

JR's Health Issues

2024 has not been an easy year for the WWE Hall of Famer. The AEW commentator has already undergone multiple surgeries this year, including an operation to address skin cancer on his right hip .

In June 2023, Ross experienced a fall that left him with a nasty black eye mere hours ahead of the premiere episode of AEW Collision. Ever the professional, Ross made the show, but later said he was stepping away from the commentary table to fully heal. It was later noted that Ross suffered a concussion during the fall .

It remains to be seen when JR will return to AEW commentary after this latest trip to the ER. While Ross will no doubt be hopeful to make it to this weekend's AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door show, it remains to be seen if the Oklahoma native will be a part of the show.
