Travis Kelce says Taylor Swift shunned security and entourage to be around his friends and family

Travis Kelce can't stop gushing over his girlfriend - recalling some of the sweet moments when he knew he was falling for her.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight-end has been very supportive when it comes to his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift . The couple have been dating for about a year now but made it Instagram official on Sunday, June 23 with a picture of the two posing with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte . Travis then wow'ed the London audience during night three of the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium when he performed a skit on stage during The Tortured Poets Department set. Usually Travis is cheering from the VIP tent, backstage or in a suite with friends and family.

The football star opened up about his relationship with the pop star on Barstool Sports podcast Bussin' with the Boys .

On the Monday, June 24 episode, Travis talked about the moment her fell for Taylor.

He said: "I think that's why I really started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around friends [and] family. It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention and she just keeps it so chill and so cool and I can admire it for sure."

The singer "really won" Travis' heart when she walked through the front door and wanted to "be around family and friends, and experience this with everybody" instead of hiding away in the NFL suites by security when attending the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears game last September. Travis planned on having everything set up for her be she took him by surprise.

Travis also made sure to let people know that he is not afraid to claim his lady.

He said: "It's like, you want to keep things private, but at the same time like I'm not here to like hide anything ... that's my girl, that's my lady, I'm proud of that."

The two have been very supportive of one another. Taylor attended 13 of Travis' Kansas City Chiefs games this past season, including the team's Super Bowl win, which she flew to from Japan. Travis attended his first Eras Tour in July of 2023 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Since, he has visited six cities in total, flying back and forth to support his Lover.
