This opinion piece never gets into describing what 'CUD' is. Any "addiction" is in their head. Marijuana is not a chemically inducing dependent substance, unlike opiods, alcohol, or cigarettes.

what kind of BULLSHIT RESEARCH IS THIS??? IM 70 YRS OLD and my brother is 64 yrs old. We both have been using cannabis for over 45 yrs or from the Mid 1970s. Yes is is stronger but we use less. he smokes slot, Me I'm a disabled combat Veteran and use cannabis mainly after work or on the weekends. it help me rest, sleep and I suffer from PTSD. THE VA gives me meds that are *WELL I HAVE NO EMOTIONAL REACTIONS or JUST HAVE NO REACTION TO ANYTHING. I WILL NOT take those MEDS DUE TO TERRIBLE THOUGHTS*LIKE TAKING MY LIFE OR JUST HAVE NO EMOTIONS PERIOD. OUR GOVERNMENT IS GIVING these young soldiers Meds that are causing them To Kill THEMSELVES BUT THE MILITARY JUST DOESN'T CARE. CANNABIS is not for everyone but it helps some, Edibles & gummies are out the if you can't are don't want to smoke Cannabis. Max
