Watch: 'Red One' Trailer Featuring The Rock and Chris Evans

The first trailer of 'Red One' starring The Rock and Chris Evans dropped on Tuesday after the holiday event film was teased for a long time.

'Red One' revolves around an original story by Seven Bucks Productions’ President of Production Hiram Garcia, which Amazon MGM Studios secured after a bidding war. The film is set to hit the theatres in the United States on November 15 and will be released worldwide via Warner Bros Pictures during the same month. Check out the trailer below:

Red One

The story depicts Santa Claus (Code Name: RED ONE) being kidnapped and the North Pole’s Head of Security (The Rock) has to join forces with the world’s most infamous bounty hunter (Evans) in an action-filled quest to save Christmas. Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, Wesley Kimmel and J.K. Simmons are also part of the cast.

Seven Bucks’ regular collaborator Chris Morgan penned the screenplay. He has previously worked with the company on a handful of projects in the Fast & Furious franchise . Producers on the film include  The Detective Agency's Kasdan and Melvin Mar, Morgan representing Chris Morgan Productions, and Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson from Seven Bucks Productions. It is also noted that The Detective Agency’s Sky Salem Robinson co-produced.

'Red One' saw the reunion of Kasdan, Johnson and Seven Bucks Productions after their blockbuster hits with Sony’s Jumanji films Welcome to the Jungle and The Next Level , which have earned a collective global gross of a whopping $1.7 billion.

Meanwhile, 'The Great One' recently informed his fans that he suffered an elbow injury while filming for his upcoming movie, 'The Smashing Machine' which is based on former wrestler and MMA fighter Mark Kerr.
