After a lackluster few seasons, all eyes were on The Real Housewives of Atlanta for their highly-anticipated soft reboot. Things started to get questionable when allegations surfaced that Kenya showed sexually explicit content of Brittany at the opening of Kenya Moore Hair Spa.

The alleged stunt left Kenya’s job in limbo, and according to Entertainment Tonight , a source said that Kenya felt annoyed with how Bravo handled the situation. Thus, she decided to walk away from the show in the middle of Season 16.

“Kenya is not returning to RHOA this season. She decided it was best for herself to leave after how she felt the incident was handled and how she was treated,” the source claimed.

When this drama started unfolding, Kenya told her fans that she “wasn’t going anywhere.” Clearly, that has changed, and she took to her X account, formerly known as Twitter, to address the news of her exit.

Meanwhile, it’s not even clear if this storyline will make it to the final cut of Season 16. It’s still early into production, and they have been dealing with a number of other obstacles, like the fact that Porsha Williams can’t film inside her marital home . Perhaps this issue with Kenya will give Bravo a chance to reset and restrategize because as of right now, Season 16 is looking like a mess.
