    3 Tri-Cities products named ‘Top 8 Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee’

    TRI-CITIES, Tenn. (WJHL) — Three products made in Northeast Tennessee have advanced to the next round of voting for the “Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee.”

    The Tennessee Manufacturing Association announced Tuesday that eight finalists have advanced to the next category in the competition.

    The following products from Northeast Tennessee made it to the round:

    • 100% Recycled Containerboard Grade Paper, Domtar Paper Company in Sullivan County
    • Eastman Tritan™ Renew, Eastman in Sullivan County
    • Z370r – Electric Zero Turn Mower, John Deere in Greene County

    Voting begins Wednesday and ends on July 2. Products advancing to the ‘Top 4’ will be announced on July 8.

    The Coolest Things Made in Tennessee competition aims to bring attention to products made in the state and career opportunities.
