Ontario County 2024 primary results. Here's who will advance to the November election.

Here are the results from the Ontario County primaries held Tuesday. All results are unofficial and pending the counting of absentee ballots. Winners are in bold and marked by an arrow ►.

Congressional District 24

Republican

►Rep. Claudia Tenney — 59.98%

Mario Fratto — 38.07%

The race was a rematch from a primary in 2022, which Tenney won and subsequently won the general election that year.

Many cities and towns in Ontario County are part of the sprawling and redrawn District 24, which stretches as far west as Niagara County to as far northeast as Jefferson County and includes Wayne County.

Tenney won Ontario County with 2,006 votes, or 54.33%. Fratto had 1,651 votes, or 44.72%.

If results from Tuesday hold, Tenney will go on to face Democrat David Wagenhauser in November.

The town of Victor and the northern portion of the town of East Bloomfield (election districts 2 and 3) will be included in a redrawn Congressional District 25 beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
