BT has been sounding the Yankees alarm for weeks now, and after Tuesday’s loss to the Mets, his concern has reached a fever pitch when it comes to the Bombers lineup, which he believes did not get enough of a makeover during the offseason.

“There is a massive miscalculation on a few fronts by Cashman,” BT said. “You roll the dice on Stanton as an integral piece of the puzzle, he rewards you for two months, and he’s gone for a month…they know about Gleyber Torres’ indifference…they rolled the dice on him crushing it during a contract year. Roll the dice, snake eyes, 0-for-2. Roll the dice on DJ…he misses the first two months of the season, and he’s still shot. That’s 0-for-3. Everything outside of bringing in Soto and Verdugo, every other thing they’ve done - Rizzo is shot.”

Outside of Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, BT doesn’t see any formidable bats that can help generate offense, especially with Alex Verdugo mired in a slump. On Tuesday, Torres was tasked with batting cleanup despite suffering through a dreadful season. It inspired no hope in BT.

“The Yankees have a world of issues…you better worry about this offense,” BT said. “This offense stinks.”

Sal was in full agreement, and says the Mets, and any other team, should be walking Judge every time up since nobody batting behind him instils any fear.

“I could get these guys out,” Sal said. “They stink!”
