2 Cold Scorpio Has Upcoming Bookings Postponed Following His Recent Arrest

Earlier this week, news broke that Charles Scaggs had been arrested on June 15 after he got into an argument with a man over their refusal to put out a cigarette in a convenience store, which resulted in the pro wrestler stabbing the man multiple times. And while 58-year-old Scraggs would claim self-defense and officially plead not guilty, it has now been revealed that he is set to miss some notable upcoming bookings. This was advised by Japanese promotion DDT Pro , who had previously announced he would work several dates for them in August, presumably because he can’t travel internationally.

“2 Cold Scorpio was scheduled to participate in the Korakuen Hall tournament on August 12th and the Shinjuku FACE tournament hosted by GCW on August 13th and 14th. However, due to legal issues in America, he has had to postpone his visit to Japan. We deeply apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing 2 Cold Scorpio’s matches.”

Despite being older than most active wrestlers, Scraggs, better known to wrestling fans as 2 Cold Scorpio and Flash Funk, continues to compete semi-regularly, with him having wrestled over a dozen times this year.  Still, whether the former WWE, WCW, and ECW talent struggles to get more bookings following his arrest remains to be seen, although given how bizarre the wrestling world can be, if many actually see him booked more, with his current notoriety likely making him a bigger name.
