In the wake of her alleged Real Housewives of Atlanta explicit poster scandal, subsequent suspension, and eventual exit, Kenya Moore continues to have a loyal supporter in her corner – former co-star/now-former peach holder, Kandi Burruss .
When the recent announcement was made that Kenya was suspended from RHOA, Kandi immediately voiced her disapproval of the decision. Now, she’s doubling down on her take. Basically, Kandi says that mess is the nature of the show, so some grace should be extended to Kenya.

Kenya was in hot water for allegedly displaying a photo of newbie, Brittany Eady , engaged in a sexual situation. It was at Kenya’s salon opening (which Brittany didn’t attend), and was filmed for Season 16.
This week, news broke that Kenya’s suspension turned into an definitive exit . Kandi took up for her again on a recent episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast . In Kandi’s opinion, Housewives gonna Housewife, so what’s the issue?
Kandi began, “The show is wild, right? We’ve had some crazy things happen on our show.”
As Kandi sees it, although putting the images out there wasn’t kind of Kenya, she didn’t fabricate anything. Plus, the pics were already out there for all to see.
Kandi continued, “And a lot of people are like, ‘How can you support that?’ And I’m like, at the end of the day, she didn’t make up anything about somebody. Now she pulled some unfavorable receipts offline, which may not have been the nicest thing to do.”

Sources claim the images were “easily accessible” online, and allege Brittany had threatened Kenya, using the word “gun,” prior to the event. Production denied gun violence was threatened at the event, or that any weapons were present.
Kandi has spoken to Kenya since the whole thing went down. In this situation, Kandi’s subscribing to her signature adage, “don’t start none, won’t be none.”
“When you threaten or attack someone negatively, you don’t control their response. Why must she respond kindly?”
Kandi added Kenya seems “OK” in light of everything that’s happened, but wishes Kandi had still been filming with her.
“She’s upset I can’t support her,” said Kandi. Well, I’m glad I’m not, but I still want to support her!”
