The Tulsa King Season 2 release date has officially been announced. Paramount+ has also unveiled the teaser trailer for the upcoming second season of the crime drama, marking the return of Sylvester Stallone as Mafia capo Dwight Manfredi.
As Dwight Manfredi continues to build his growing empire, the newly released teaser trailer sees Stallone’s character landing in jail, presumably as a result of a beatdown. Tulsa King, created by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, follows the disgraced New York mafia capo as he returns to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to build his criminal crew. Now, according to Dwight, “Tulsa belongs to [him] now.”
When is the Tulsa King Season 2 release date?
The second season of Tulsa King is set to arrive on Paramount+ on September 15, 2024. The logline for Season 2 reads: “Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York.”
Tulsa King also stars Martin Starr as Bodh, Jay Will as Tyson Mitchell, Max Casella as Manny, Vincent Piazza as Vince Antonacci, Tatiana Zappardino as Tatiana Zappardino as Tina Manfredi-Grieger, Annabella Sciorra as Joanne Manfredi, Domenick Lombardozzi as Chickie, Andrea Savage as Stacy Beale, Garrett Hedlund as Mitch Keller, and Dana Delany as Margaret Devereaux.
Back in April, Frank Grillo was announced to be joining Tulsa King as a series regular. He will play Kansas City mobster Bill Bevilaqua.
“Just after he is released from prison after 25 years, New York mafia capo Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi is unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a ‘crew’ from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet,” the synopsis reads.
