Just a few months ago, the mayor’s office announced that there were efforts underway to build a new splash pad.

Once the splash pad is finished, there will be a major water feature in each quadrant of the county. Currently, there are water amenities at New Harvest Park in the East District, Powell Station in the North District and Carl Cowan Park in the West District .
