Tatiana Maslany Reflects On Twerking With Megan Thee Stallion For ‘She-Hulk’

She-Hulk: Attorney At Law star Tatiana Masley discusses one of her favorite moments from the series, and it involves the Grammy-nominated rapper Megan Thee Stallion. The Houston musician guested alongside the character Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, as herself, and the actress could not have been any happier.

In episode three titled The People vs. Emil Blonsky , another lawyer, Dennis Bukows takes legal action against an Asgardian Light Elf who was impersonating the Houston Hot Girl and hustled him out of money. Megan Thee Stallion makes an appearance and twerks with the titular character in the episode’s post-credit scene, as she hires the She-Hulk to be on her legal team.

“I had been to multiple Megan Thee Stallion concerts before this. I was ready. That was the greatest moment of my life,” reflected Masley of the moment at San Antonio’s Superhero Comic Con, per Deadline.

Although the series brought Maslany joy, she previously expressed her doubts that it will return for a second season.

“I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘No thanks,’” she said during a Twitch appearance in January, according to the outlet.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the chart-topping rapper’s appearance in the superhero series was made possible by Jameela Jamil after the two ladies worked together on Legendary. In the She-Hulk series, Jamil plays villain Titania.

“I was preparing to come and do this when I was filming Legendary season two, and I just asked her and she turned out to be a huge Marvel fan, ” Jamil explained to THR. “I just had a feeling she’d be a great actor because she’s good at everything, and she absolutely smashed it. I could not have been prouder or more in awe of her, and she brings out something in Tatiana that no one has ever seen before — Tatiana has moves. It’s ridiculous.”

She continued, “Megan’s just one of the highlights of the whole show for me.”
