Gabbi Tuft Shares Footage From Her Return To The Ring

Due to not having wrestled in over a decade and having had open heart surgery in 2019, it was believed Gabi Tuft, who previously wrestled as Tyler Reks, was finished competing in the ring. However, after recently confirming earlier this year that she was back in training after receiving medical clearance, the former WWE talent has shared a brief clip on Instagram from her return to the ring, having main evented West Coast Pro’s show on Tuesday night.

45-year-old Tuft first began wrestling in 2007 and quickly caught the attention of WWE due to her impressive look and plenty of charisma. This would see her treated as a big deal in their developmental territory, FCW, with her going on to hold the promotion’s top title. Yet, once called up to be part of WWE’s version of ECW, this success wouldn’t continue, and she was ultimately treated as a lower-card talent. And while it did look like WWE had plans for her as part of the tag team with Curt Hawkins, she quit the company because she wanted to spend more time with her daughter.
