There have been endless conspiracy theories and studies on how radiation and 5G impact the human body. M.I.A is addressing the situation head-on with her new streetwear brand .

Ohmni, her new fashion line, claims to “block 99.99% of Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G from reaching your brain.” The official Instagram page previewed a $100 Tin Foil reversible two-tone bucket hat that reportedly provides “100% brain coverage” and is made of “pure copper and nickel Faraday fabric.”

There is also a $200 Data Protection Dump Bag which blocks “99.99 percent” of “electromagnetic radiation.” She previously released a $200 Full Protection Poncho with “full coverage of brain, gut, lungs, heart, and womb,” a Protency Fitted Boxer, a Super Stealth Hat, and an Anti Trace Phone Case.

There are also jeans, t-shirts, and hoodies available to be purchased on ohmni.com .

“Future backwards is R U TUF,” M.I.A wrote in a TikTok promoting the products. “If the conspiracy theorists are wrong, good for you, you own some beautiful clothes made with pure silver and precious metals. But, if they are right, you just might have saved the future of humanity.”

The Ohmni website added even more detail to the brand’s purpose. “In the time of smart cities, digital crypto, AI, NeuraLink, hackable humans, zero privacy, deepmind, internal body data harvesting, and indiscriminate tracking surveillance, mind data mining, social media overload, augmented reality, social credit system, virtual dystopian mindfield, we bring you the revolutionary future of fashion,” they wrote. “This is not your artist foray into fashion. This is a necessity.”

Musically, the British artist has been quiet since her 2022 album MATA . She had a major appearance on Travis Scott’s “Franchise” alongside Young Thug in 2020, which went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking her first time reaching the chart’s peak.
