According to a Coffee County Sheriff’s Office incident report, a 57-year-old Douglas man was arrested last week after he shot his wife. The report states that on July 10, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on Green Oak Street in response to a gunshot wound. While en route to the location, deputies were informed by Coffee E911 that the victim was still on an open line.
