HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A motorcycle crash was reported on US 41 Tuesday.

According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, crews arrived on the scene and found a car and a motorcycle with heavy damage.

The driver of the motorcycle was later identified as 63-year-old Terry Lee Magan.

The driver of the motorcycle was unconscious on arrival and was transferred to a local hospital. Police say the driver later died as a result of injuries sustained from the crash.

A section of US 41 was shut down for two hours while officials investigated the crash.

The cause of the crash is unknown, but police say drugs or alcohol are not believed to be involved.
