Saying “ I’ve got five on it ” will go a long way at multiple fast food chains this summer. McDonald’s , Burger King and Starbucks all have deals that will set customers back a single fiver.

Axios even reported Wednesday that “$5 has become the fast food industry’s magic number,” as inflation continues to put pressure on U.S. consumers, causing some to choose eating at home over a trip to the drive through window. This surge of inflation “dismantled” $1 deals that were previously common on fast food menus, according to the outlet.

Bureau of Labor Statistics data indicates that prices of “meals at limited services eating places” are up 31% compared to the [pre COVID-19 pandemic days, while wage gains increased just 25%.

Sam Zietz, CEO of GRUBBRR, a self-ordering technology company, told Axios some consumers are choosing sit-down options over ever-pricier fast food as they reassess their financial habits. With these new deals, some of the top fast food chains are aiming to keep their drive through lines full.

In a press release from last week , McDonald’s announced the details of its new deal. Burger King’s offerings were reported on by several outlets, including Bloomberg , Reuters , and TODAY . Starbucks’ deals are now being promoted on the coffee staple’s website.

    Here’s what the deals are:

McDonald’s “$5 Meal Deal”: For $5 you can get a choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, a four piece Chicken McNuggets and a small soft drink.

Burger King “$5 Your Way Meal”: For $5 you get a choice between Whopper Jr., Bacon Cheeseburger and Chicken Jr., plus fries, four-piece chicken nuggets and a soft drink.

Starbucks “Pairings Menu”: For $5 you get a tall iced/hot coffee or tea paired with a butter croissant.

“We heard our fans loud and clear – they’re looking for even more great value from us, and this summer that’s exactly what they’ll get,” said Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald’s USA in the press release announcement.
