FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — As of close of business Tuesday, FEMA has approved over $4 million in recovery funds.

FEMA has received nearly 5,000 applications from affected counties, according to Roberto Baltodano, external affairs officer with FEMA.

FEMA can provide up to $42,500 for structural repairs, food, storage, and other expenses. The deadline to apply is July 30.

“We want to make sure that everybody has the time to make sure they have the conversation with us to assess what needs there are,” Baltodano said. “So don’t wait even if you’re not sure about your losses.”

To apply for FEMA assistance, please visit the FEMA website or call 1-800-621-3362.
