A woman interviewing for a job at a ketamine clinic was shocked by the "unprofessional" questions her interviewer repeatedly asked her throughout their discussion. The TikToker, who goes by Iz ( @italianstallionn69 ) on the popular social media app, posted about the experience in a viral TikTok that's garnered over 4.5 million views.

Iz begins her TikTok speaking into the camera and gushing about the fact that her "dream" job interview is about to take place, but then the next frame of the video depicts a much different outcome than Iz probably initially anticipated: She appears on camera with mascara running down her cheeks.

The TikToker intoned that the interview was so emotionally triggering that she ended up "getting in [her] car and sobbing in spite of the fact [she] was invited back next week."

She delves into what was "said and done" that prompted such a visceral reaction from her, stating that "off the rip" the interviewer made remarks she said were "unprofessional."

Which included the man asking her if she was wearing makeup from the moment she sat down, and he intoned that no one else in the company puts cosmetics on their face. She asked if it was a problem to which the man replied that it wasn't, but that her choice to adorn her face in makeup was "interesting."

She then says that the man got up from his chair and then stood up and brought his face about "two inches" away from her own and began closely scrutinizing her countenance. "He sits back down and asks me one interview question," she says after the bizarre encounter. "What the hell did you just do? What did you do? What was the purpose of that?" she questions into the camera.

The next question the man asked seems like something out of a Saturday Night Live sketch: he asked Iz if she was nervous about the interview, and she admitted that she was. The interviewer construed this as she was worried the job would find something out about her she wanted to keep a secret.

She explained that she wasn't nervous because they were going to "find out" anything particularly damning about her character, but rather because it was a "job opportunity that is really exciting for [her]" because "it has everything [she] is looking for."

Iz goes on to say that the interviewer began asking her "about [her] trauma" instead of any of the skills that would make her a good candidate for the job.

The TikToker said after she began answering personal questions about her family and some of the prying questions the man asked, he then began "making assumptions" about her, speculating that she probably has difficulty "with men," before launching into a tirade about males being sex-obsessed "animals."

The interviewer seemed to be concerned with the trajectory of her romantic relationships as well, writing that she must be "impatient" with prospective lovers as she knows exactly what she wants and would probably dump a guy in a heartbeat if he wasn't living up to her expectations.

She countered his claim, stating that she isn't "impatient at all" which he then construed as her being "too forgiving," adding that she allows folks to "walk all over" her and that she lets "people walk back into her life" that probably shouldn't be allowed to do so.

Iz says that the man didn't stop with relationship questions: he asked the 21-year-old if she was married, which she highlighted was unlikely due to the fact that there wasn't a ring on her finger and just by virtue of her age: "Clearly I'm not married. I'm like no and then he ends up telling me near the end of the interview that I'm not going to get married until I'm 28 to 35."

"He gave me a time period," she stated, "which is way later than what I want to actually get married at and so I'm just like OK cool, thank you," she recalled, visibly flustered in her video as she speaks to her followers.

At this point in the video she reveals that the job she was applying for was at a "ketamine clinic" and the man told her that she was probably wondering if she could bring some of the ketamine home and "try it," which she wasn't having.

"I stop him, I said no sir, I just understand the relief it provides to patients and I want to see that in action, I want to be a part of that."

She said that her answer seemingly fell on deaf ears and that the man cut her off and reiterated that she can't be bringing any Special K home.

Even though Iz clearly had a horrible time during the interview, she remarked that she was "proud of [herself]" for maintaining her composure and keeping a "smile" on her face the entire time despite "internally" being "in disarray."

Iz does acquiesce, however, that the interviewer may've intentionally put her in an emotionally pressurized situation to see how she would react to it as a means of simulating the real-life, on-the-job experiences she will more than likely have with patients at the ketamine clinic.

"And the only reason I can think of for him to make me feel that way and ask me those questions was to see how I would react to being put in uncomfortable, challenging situations 'cause I know we're gonna be working with clients with a lot of mental health problems and they're probably gonna do the same and I'm gonna be put into these situations," she said.

The TikToker continued, "But for a job interview, to meet you and have that happen to me I just don't think is so unreasonable so, yep, that's my update, guys," she says about the assessment she was subjected to.

However, follow-up TikTok videos seemingly confirm that this wasn't a "crazy like a fox" interview tactic, as Iz uploaded another video addressing some of the questions from fellow appalled users on the app.

And then in yet another video, she posted a conversation between someone, presumably from the clinic, who seemed to apologize for the interviewer's behavior, citing that the man is a doctor, however, he is autistic and while he is able to snap into professional mode, there are times when he can't help but not recognize people's boundaries.

While some people were indeed sympathetic to the interviewer's situation, other people suggested that Iz "sue" the facility, even suggesting that she reach out to her university's law school for pro bono services.
