We know, it's about 100 degrees in just about every area of the country right now, so nobody is thinking about going outside and doing some voluntary manual labor. That being said, this idea is one you're going to want to hold onto for when the mercury drops, because it's that good.

This home gardener says that she's found the perfect way to get a natural edge to her gardens using a very specific tool that allows her to make her way through the backbreaking chore in less than a half hour.

Normally, when something sounds too good to be true, we're a bit skeptical. But, after watching this video, we're actually true believers now. Take a look and decide where you fall for yourself.

Whew, we need to send @detriarochelle a thank you card for sharing this half moon edger trick with us. Currently, we have our garden beds edged with rock or raised boxes, depending on where they are. But, as anyone with an un-natural garden edging knows, that means that we have to do a lot of weed whacking if we want to keep things looking nice.

We're willing to bet with a natural edge like this we could probably just drive the lawnmower right over the side, cutting the grass down while leaving the weed eater in the shed where it belongs.

Considering how hot it's been (and how hot it's promising to continue to be) the less time we have to spend outside sweating away as we do our chores, the better!

This isn't the only way to hack your garden bed edging either, there are some other tricks that will help you create the perfect lines, even if you're looking for something a bit more wavy than this half moon product provides.

There Are 3 Popular Edging Techniques

While you can really design your garden however your preference, budget, and space allows you to, there are three pretty standard ways people edge their beds when they're going for that natural look.

According to this gardener , you can do a curvy, square, or rounded edge for your bed. Each offers a different look and some different perks (for example, it may be hard to use a riding mower on a curvy bed), so it's best for you to decide which option is right for you after watching his how-to video explaining the different looks.
