Woman's Hilarious Video Highlights Why Everyone's Home Is a Mess Right Now

Parent everywhere know that their houses look like a bomb went off inside of them for a pretty good reason, and it mainly has to do with the fact that summer break has a lot of little ones spending more time at home while their school is closed and their teachers get a much needed (albeit very short) break.
But there's also another sneaky reason why our indoor spaces are looking a hot mess these days, and we can't exactly blame the little kids for this one. In fact, one TikToker has hit the nail on the head with her hilarious new video that may be exactly what Taylor Swift meant when she said, "It's me, hi, I'm the problem."
Hey garden tiktok! Using the half moon edger to give my flowerbeds or any garden bed and natural edge is my favorite garden project! It’s east to add a bed or edge anywhere. Getting a half moon edger and using it correctly is definitely one of my beginner gardening hacks and tips to make a flowerbed look nice fast. Easiest part of landscape design imo! We totally feel @lookinsidemygarden's pain right now, because just like her our house is a disaster because we're outside taking advantage of this brief window of time when we can play in our garden.
Depending on where you live, the amount of time you'll get to spend outside this summer may vary, so it's important to get out there while the getting is good. And that may mean opting to pull weeds and throw mulch instead of handling those day to day tasks inside that can wait, like washing dishes and putting away laundry.
It may be 100 degrees most places right now, but for those who can brave the heat (or who are really good at getting up early to do you yardwork before the temperatures really start to climb), there are a few things you should really be accomplishing this month while you can.
Because, believe it or not, it's only going to get hotter as summer marches on.
June Gardening Tasks to Tackle ASAP
There's a few things you should be doing in your garden right now, and they include planting those June hearty varieties that need to get into the dirt before the soil gets too hot. You can find a good list of them here, but they include sunflowers and cucumbers, two summer favorites.
Next, you want to get that mulch down . In addition to acting as a weed barrier, mulch helps keep moisture locked in. So, it's especially important during these uber hot months where we see high temperatures with no signs of rain.
Lastly, you want to take advantage of those cutting gardens ! Just remember, when you're snipping blooms from your flower beds you want to do it during the coolest part of the day. Otherwise, you run the risk of damaging both your cutting and the plant you took it from.
It's Okay To Play in the Garden This Summer
All jokes aside, we can see why some people are sensitive to the state of their house while they're taking advantage of getting some quality time in outdoors. We're here to tell you to let any guilt you may have surrounding that fact go, because before you know it there will be snow on the ground and you'll have nowhere to be other than inside, tending to all those chores you've been putting off all summer!
