And you thought Barbenheimer was big last summer.

Two big events are quickly approaching that has college football fans excited. The start of a new season that will feature major conference realignment and the release of EA Sports College Football 25.

After a 10 year break, the video game company is making its long-awaited return to college football.

As part of the hype surrounding the game’s release, EA has released its list of the toughest places to play in college football.

To no one’s surprise, the SEC dominates the top end of the list. Six of the Top 10 are SEC home stadiums, including Alabama, LSU, Georgia, new SEC member Oklahoma and Florida.

But the No. 1 toughest place to play, according to EA is Kyle Field in College Station, is the home of the Texas A&M Aggies.

EA says it considered many factors in the ranking, including home winning percentage, attendance, active home winning streak and team prestige.

According to the publisher, these stadium rankings will affect actual gameplay. The better the home field ranking, the bigger the boost for the home team.

EA has added special pre-snap mechanics for road teams in tough environments that will make plays more difficult to execute.

EA Sports College Football 25 comes out on July 19.
